• Inter-Island Parent Coalition for Change, Inc. was selected to implement this project on St. Thomas Hospital Ground.
  
• During the month of February:
•  Inter-Island Coalition for Change, Inc. conducted telephone surveys in the Hospital Ground Neighborhood to identify the needs of the residents.  35 residents participated in the survey.
• Legal Services of the Virgin Islands conducted sessions on wrongful termination and employee rights
• A resident began training for solar/hot water installation conducted by the VI Energy Office
• Two residents began GED classes
• During the month of May:
• 59 participating residents has the opportunity to learn about services and funding opportunities available through the VI Waste Management Authority
• There were 5 new registrants to the program
• 20 residents in Cohort 1&2 of the computer classes have completed the basic and intermediate course; these cohorts are now undertaking the advanced computer courses
• One resident that took the speed Spanish I course successfully completed that course and planned to begin the speed Spanish II course
• As of October 2010, the project has been fully executed and funds have been fully expended.
