Key Benefits:
  • The Quality Rating Improvement System (QRIS) was successfully designed.  This was a collaborative effort between the Quality Workgroup of the Governer's Children and Family Council Early Childhood Advisory Committee and the DHS Office of Child Care and Regulatory Services.  The Oldham Innovative Research Company was contracted with ARRA funds to provide the guidance and expertise to the Office of Child Care and the Early Advisory Committee Quality Workgroup
  • Functional Design of the Licensing Module of the Child Care Information System and screen shots were completed. Licensing Module was fully implemented by the end of 2012.
  • Sponsored the 2010 V.I. Business Leaders Summits on Early Childhood Investment in both St. Croix and St. Thomas. Approximately 100 business leaders, policy makers and other members of the community heard lectures and engaged in discussions about a wide range of topics from the science of child development to the economic impact of proven early childhood investments
